For those of you who don't know, Whitney Port is the star of the MTV reality show The City. She has launched a clothing line called Whitney Eve. She showed her Spring 2010 fashion line at Bryant Park in New York City during the Mercedes Benz Fashion Week. The line featured dresses for both day and night, skirts and women's tops.  Nicole Richie also promoted her latest jewellery collection. The new range for House of Harlow includes bangles, statement pendants and earrings. Also, Gwen Stefani shows her L.A.M.B collection of Spring 2010 Fashions during Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week.

I am not really a big fan of celebrity designers but I must say some of the pieces from their collections are actually wearable and cute.

While reading the January issue of Vogue yesterday I discovered these cool  printed socks. These socks are made by Kvast, an online accessory shop based in Berlin. They used a printing technique that makes it possible for hand painted art to be reproduced on fabric. Would you guys wear them? I think they are lovely and would definitely wear them.

Happy New Year everyone! What a great way to start 2010 than to create a blog. I have been reading different blogs and become attached to them for months now. I wanted to create by own blog ever since I came here in the States but don't have the time.  I recently visited New York and would like to share my experiences with you guys.

While I'm in the city, I visted some of the places that make for an authentic New York food  and shopping experience.

   we visited another popular tourist spot, Serendipity, for some desserts

 

New York is bustling with people, tall buildings, and flashy signs. Manhatan is definitely a sight to behold. Can't wait to go back and explore other parts of the city.
