Celebrity Designer

 Nicole Richie - House of Harlow
Gwen Stefani - L.A.M.B. Spring 2010 Collection

For those of you who don't know, Whitney Port is the star of the MTV reality show The City. She has launched a clothing line called Whitney Eve. She showed her Spring 2010 fashion line at Bryant Park in New York City during the Mercedes Benz Fashion Week. The line featured dresses for both day and night, skirts and women's tops.  Nicole Richie also promoted her latest jewellery collection. The new range for House of Harlow includes bangles, statement pendants and earrings. Also, Gwen Stefani shows her L.A.M.B collection of Spring 2010 Fashions during Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week.

I am not really a big fan of celebrity designers but I must say some of the pieces from their collections are actually wearable and cute.

    Love the necklace on the left in the first photo. House of Harlow is a great line and inexpensive when you compare it to other designer lines.

    Like gwen's collection. Whitney's doesn't do much for me. Would wear every last piece from House of Harlow. Such inspired jewelry... now if only I could afford it all.

    I actually really like some of Nicole Richie's jewelry, I didn't think I would! I also love gwen stefani's personal style, and her collections are surprisingly softer than I would expect, which i love!

    I love Whitney but I can't say I am a fan of her line...she herself dresses so well but this stuff just doesn't do it for me!

    I don't mind whitney's collection or Nicole's jewelry but really its nothing special. I think if I were a celebrity I'd probably take advantage of my status and design something I would like to wear!

    I wish Gwen's collection was as high profile as when it started, it's a real shame the website has become such a joke, with about one pairs of trousers and 4 t shirts. haha. love House of Harlow though, such a cute idea.

    That's total BS!! I'm sorry, but celebrities should not be allowed to design clothing or anything related to fashion!! They clearly have not had the proper training to do so, and it obviously reflects in their work. The fact that anyone can be a designer nowadays freaks me out. As a fashion student myself, this needs to stop NOW.
